| After sitting on trains, boats, and busses, I was eager to hike. I asked a local about this mountain towering over the village. I was told that there are trails but it is very steep and in places and stepping/slipping/tripping off the trail may result in a fatal fall. I did not immediately find the trail head so I started up with the assumption that I would intersect it sooner rather than later. Eventually I realised that I was no longer hiking but climbing with all four limbs and if I fell, I would likely injure myself severely. I carefully retracted and found a less treacherous route, finally finding the trail atop the cliff. |
